Great Purchase
These shoes are amazing. I purchased them to use on a residential job site. I am 260 lbs over 50 and I still cover a lot of ground while working. I work at a fast pace all day, my joints take a pounding with that weight. Yep I know they are not safety shoes but when you get home and all of your joi...

No go, to narrow
A+ shoe and quality. A+ Tread is perfectly aggressive. A+ for comfort and support. Fit: (8.5W) grade: D- If you aren't afflicted with the same foot issues as I am (I'm a 4e, slender heel and flat foot) then you want to ignore this review. Let me start by saying I've become an expert shoe fitte...

Close but not there
Good traction but would be way better with the Skyflow sole which is way more comfortable. When I put these on after my Skyflows I am not happy. The laces could be thicker and the boot is too heavy and chunky.
Didn't make the Grade.
I ordered these sight unseen directly from HOKA as nobody within a days drive carried this model. Was looking for a light hiker with a little more ankle support than my Skyline Float X's. Unfortunately they are built on a different last, slightly narrow and way too much volume for my flatter feet. Had to tighten the laces to the point where the fabric was buckling across the forefoot! Just couldn't manage mor than a half hour without extreme discomfort. On the good side, extremely light and well-ventilated with a trail-worthy Vibram sole. Just not a good match for my feet. I will be exchanging these for another pair of Skylines as we speak. If you have the right foot these would be highly recommended as a trail maker.

I am on my third pair of hoka boots
I wear the boots as everyday boots and a little hiking. Got a pair for Christmas 2024. Eyelet has pulled out of one boot and shoe strings are already shredding apart. I'm 70 years old and I don't think my feet are still growing but my size 9 are too small

It can be very upsetting when you feel your pair doesn't hold up the best. Due to many varied factors such as terrain, frequency of wear and natural elements, some pairs may wear quicker than others. We recommend sending your pair in for an evaluation by our warranty department to see if they are eligible for a warranty claim. So far I really like them
I haven't had these very long, but so far I really like them. Easy to put on, very comfortable, great traction. I did get a half size larger than I normally buy and they are just about perfect.
Very nice for what I wanted.
So far I have only used these around the house getting a feel for them. My wife and I intend to do some light hiking around the Las Vegas countryside this summer. These will certainly do the job.
light weight
well I am 67 need two knee replacement's.....alway's hiked and biked everywhere....so the shoes support my ankle's and knee's as I wait to fix my knee's ...also did get a very fair price for a quality product ..
fine for city but not for trail
These are very good looking. But... they are too stretchy so that on any off camber trail you feel your feet slipping off the platform. This may be good for measuring how light they are and they are light but it does not help stability. I also really dislike the shoe laces. /they are too skinny and continuously come undone even if you double knot them. The mesh like fabric is prone to snagging and tearing. They do have a vibram sole which seems sticky enough but it also wears pretty quickly; not as fast as Solomons but pretty quick.
So much pain!
I've never purchased a more uncomfortable pair of hiker. Absolutely destroyed my feet the first few days. I currently have shoe stretchers in them trying to fix the pressure points. I really hope that helps me. On a positive note they look cool.

Your pair should look cool and feel good, not one or the other. Thankfully, our 30-day guarantee bit.ly/HOKA30Day allows you to send back any pair that isn't perfect for you for another style. Perhaps our Kaha, a plush hiker ready to tear up the trails, could be just what you need. You can easily exchange your pair by clicking here: bit.ly/HOKAEXRT.
